Tyres..... Pirelli MT21 front and rear for road and light/dry trail use...25 psi with no rim locks. Mich AC10's ,13psi with rim locks front and rear. I use these more in the winter when trailering to the rides.
As the title suggests, me and a couple of mates go out most weekends and have a good laugh trail riding. Can't recommend the wr250r enough, keeps up and does everything the ktm's do (350exc) (250exc) and the yamaha wr450. I've gave it a lot of abuse but it keeps coming back for more. Hope you enjoy. http:/...
Hello again, Its not actually broke yet but I've caught my rear brake lever on a rock and bent it right out, I've bent it back in but I'm worried it may brake at some point, my question is does any one know where I can buy one? Also the plastics that go around the tank are looking very sorry now and I'd like to re...
Just picked one up and I have a couple of questions. How do you secure your bike when you leave it as mine has no keyed ignition just a switch? Have you had any bother insuring, seem to have an issue as I have a Carole Nash six wheel policy, I am waiting for them to get back to me. Are there any must have bolt ons /...
Went out for a little ride out for fish and chips seen as it was a nice day, when I came back to the bike I went to start it, it fired then died then would not restart. The fuel pump was not buzzing like it should on it's prime cycle. My first thoughts were 2008 , early wrx, - fuel pump. Anyway I thought I had best n...
I like these bars (used to be known as Dakar Highs) and have a new pair that I would like to fit but, before I do, does anyone know if the standard cables are long enough? Brian
Should be a 5 minute job eh? Not with me it seems I can't get the pads to sit in properly. They don't seem to like the top s/s retaining or spring clip. I am pretty sure that I am replacing it the right way up but I think that I have now bent one of the spring clips on it - the one indicate with the green arrow. Even...
I am looking for an easy win here so that I can get my GPS mounted and running on the WRR. Where is the simplest and closest point to the bars in the wiring to get a constant live feed please? Brian
Bike now sold so I have two FMF Exhausts for sale- 1) Powerbomb stainless front pipe and a Powercore 4 rear section in stainless/alloy. Both parts are totally unmarked except for the normal heat marks on the front section. You will need to unplug the O2 sensor and remove the exup cables as they don't fit...
Hi, Does anyone know what oil we should be using? I have the technical spec for it, but can't see whether that should be semi synthetic or fully synthetic. I have a fair bit of quality 10W/40 semi synthetic that I would use if it's suitable. Anyone know?
Hi all, my speedometer wasnt working this morning on my wr250r and after riding all day all of a sudden the orange engine light came on but the bike seemed to be running as usual. any ideas what the problem could be or how to fix it? many thanks dayne
Part number 3D7-26302-00-00 I bought this to use as a pattern for the longer Venhill cables and it is no longer needed so it's for sale at £27 inc UK p&p. They are a tad over £31 retail in the UK plus p&p so it is a reasonable price. A very useful spare to have if you use standard bars. PM me if interes...

Hi all, I have a 2008 WR250R and had to replace the radiator and fan, supplied at a very good price from WR250Rfan. I'm now ready to fit the new parts and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as what coolant is best to use. I've also ordered a radiator guard from Flatland Racing in the States and will p...
Hi all, Does anyone know where I can get new screws for the front brake reservoir? The reservoir has been leaking since I had an off on some sleepers at a track crossing, they can be really slick! Its leaking either through the screw or from the cap Mon the reservoir. I tried to undo it but the previous owne...
Hi, I'm pretty new to trail riding and I'm in the process of learning and making my own wye valley ride out starting here in Coleford Gloucestershire. I ride a wr250r and know a few others with various other rides, if anyone is nearby and fancies a ride out let me know, I too would like to join like minded pe...

The latest version of the spanner has the hex ends "turned" so that it is easier to find that sweet spot to undo the axle nuts. See here Thanks for looking Brian
I have already posted messages so this intro is a bit late. My excuse is that I only got my WRR yesterday! It came without a seat, side panels, chain guard, number plate or battery. I ordered a battery and number plate from eBay and the other parts are on back order. My mate Olly lent me his seat and side pane...
