Did the repacking yesterday but didn't notice any real difference. I guess I was over optimistic as the packing that came out was pretty clean so I shouldn't have expected too much.

Next step is to fit the standard pipe but is it worth keeping the Power Bomb header on or will that be a waste of time?

I answered my own question this morning. The power bomb header is larger diameter so it was useful I had bought a standard header in with some other parts recently!

All fitted now and is much more suitable for trail riding IMHO.

PS I connected up the wires from the device at the front end of the silencer near where it joins the header. I am pretty sure it is a CO2 sensor. Will it do anything or should I have left it disconnected? I did know a few months ago but have forgotten disbelief

sorry to here your re-pack didnt have the desired affect cry  yep co2 sensor at the front then exup behind
