Which coolant

Hi all,

I have a 2008 WR250R and had to replace the radiator and fan, supplied at a very good price from WR250Rfan. I'm now ready to fit the new parts and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as what coolant is best to use.

I've also ordered a radiator guard from Flatland Racing in the States and will post some pictures and a review when it arrives.

Cheers,

Adam.

Welcome to the forum, I have used normal car antifreeze in some of my previous bikes but I am
Sure you need to use special antifreeze for motorbikes, sorry I can't be much help but I am sure someone on here will be able to give you a better answer.

Adam.

Unless someone advises to the contrary, I am going to use Silkolene ProCool. It comes in 1 litre bottles already mixed 50/50 with distilled water which is very useful as we are in a hard water area wink

I always thought Exmouth was a bit of a rough area.  Now it's confirmed - even the water is "hard"!

ps  Anyone know why I have to keep resubmitting my logon details?  Sometimes it "remembers me", but often it doesn't.
