Tyres.....

Pirelli MT21 front and rear for road and light/dry trail use...25 psi with no rim locks.

Mich AC10's ,13psi with rim locks front and rear.

Mitas CO2 rear with Mitas C19 front for me.

I have a new Pirelli MT43 trials tyre in my garage but I want a spare back wheel to fit it on, if anyone knows of one for sale wink.

 Hi Steve.

I might be able to help you.

I've got a nearly new (only used once...for 50 miles,so like new) standard rear wheel for sale.

It comes complete with sprocket..43,46,47 (your choice but the 46 and 47 need a 110 link chain),all spacers inc the outer ones with the plastic covers on, wheel bearings, brake disc, pads and rim tape.

The wheel came direct from Yamaha and is like new.

Not really sure what It's worth,I was thinking around the £225 o.n.o mark.

Ref delivery.I can meet halfway.

Cheers,

Andy

As i said, this wheel is direct from Yamaha and has only done 50 miles.

Andy, can you give me a week to try & justify spending this amount at the moment please?

I know these wheels are pretty rare & I'm sure your price is ok but I'm in the middle of having 5 weeks off work (unpaid, i'm self-employed cry) after a shoulder operation & just had to pay out £1250 on my vans gearbox. I have to watch my spending at the moment but I'll see what I can come up with.

 Hi Brian.

The WR-R has a 18 inch rear wheel and the std tyre size is 120/80/18

I'm not sure about the WR-X,but I think that has a 17 inch rear.

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks Andy.

I bought a box of ten 17”x225/250 inner tubes for someone but they are too small so have to try and find a home for them.

I was wondering if they fitted the front or rear wheels of the WRX.

Brian

Don't be tempted with the Vee Rubber trials tyre.  Fantastic grip.  Perfect on a trials bike but absolutely awful on the road.  I agree with the MT43.  Pity is so pricey.

I run a metzeler 6 days knobbly on the front and an mt43 trials tyre on the rear, I too would like to pick up a rear wheel to keep a knobbly on when I can find one.
