Fuel Pump Electrical Connector

Wr broke down today, not happy. Have tracked problem down to a dodgy repair on the Fuel Pump Electrical Connector. The connector needs replacing, it cannot be fixed. I have found some images of the connector on the net.  I believe Yamaha do not supply this product on its own and no info on net.  Any ideas where I could purchase a new one. Any help would be must appreciated.WR250RFuelPumpBack.jpgWR250RFuelPumpFront.jpg

Hi Phil

Bad luck on the breakdown and losing your day's riding cry

Looking at your pics, you don't need a new connector just a couple of terminals to replace the ones that the leads have broken away from?

If so, can you take a photo of one of the terminals as I can probably match them. They are held in place by a small sprung "latch" that needs to be depressed to allow the terminal to be pushed back out the end that the wires attach.

Brian

PS The terminals will look something like those in the pic below.

Thanks Brian. Unfortunately the artful bodger had been at work with the araldite and the plug was knacked. Called in at local Yamaha dealership and confirmed that the plug is part of the harness and not sold separately. He did say it was a Yamaha plug used on fuel pumps fitted to smaller Yamaha bikes and suggested trying the bike breakers. Much to my surprise they had one in stock. Wires spliced, soldered and heat shrunk. Job done.
