New TALL guy here. Need foot peg help !

Hi All, I just joined the forum !
I’m Jon, I live in London and I’m ancient, I have been biking on and off (I try to stay mostly on) for decades.

I have just bought a 2009 WR250R, it has had a couple of mods done, got an FMF zorst and header, teeny led indicators, crazy low gearing at present, 12/49 ! and very knobbly knobblies, no good for my intended street use,
I am going to try13/45, just a couple o back teeth up from stock and am fitting a set of Pirelli Scorpion. MT90 A/T on her tomorrow. These are, I believe, pretty much road tyres dressed up to look a bit trailie,

which is fine, I am gettin’ too old to hit the dirt , I’ll be biting the dust soon enough....

I am 6’4” ( 193cm) tall, with long legs. 36”, (91cm)

So, I read on here and other fora, about Bosley pegs. I want some , but have not had any response to email or facebook messages.

Does anyone here know if he is still going ? Or, is there anywhere else to get custom pegs ?
If so I would appreciate contact details.

Thanks. Stretch

Hi Brian.

Thanks for the welcome. Sure do seem a bit quiet around these parts... I think I just saw some tumbleweed blow by.....

I guess I’m a bit late to the party, everyone out on their new KTM’s now ?

The forum started up to help with repairs and mods but (a) the WRR is too reliable for many repair threads to start up and (b) most mods have now been covered and are in the archive.

Plus my son now has my WRR so I haven't got anything to write about now disbelief

Welcome to the forum Stretch.  I still have my WRR and use it for trailriding.  Mine is now well sorted for me (6' 4'') ans, as Brian says, not much goes wrong.  Hence, the forum is sadly little used these days.

I can't help you with your specific question.  Try Thumpertalk.  That's pretty active.

Steve

Hi Steve. Thanks for reply, I have been looking at the Thumper Talk and Adventure Rider forums, (they were wise not to just cater to one particular model!)
I did get a response from Bosley’s Pegs in the end, he emailed me specs and , (very reasonable) prices, hopefully he will make a set to my requirements soon, he has other work before me.

Happy Trails ! Jon
