Is this is an X or an R

Hi all, I am looking at this wr250x. It has the black plastics of an X, and a black frame. It has the R front wheel, and maybe the rear wheel too- I know this is a common swap. However, I noticed the forks are silver like an R, and the fork guards are white like the R. So, it seems to be like rather than just swap the front wheel, they replaced the entire front end which seems to me to be unnecessary unless the front end was damaged some way. What do you think?

Maybe he swapped with someone, who wants SM instead of R? Look at the frame, is it straight and wheel makes one line.

That looks like a European R to me. Just with black plastics and some new X stickers maybe? My bike is from the UK and is an R. It has a black frame and black swing arm, unlike the silver ones in the USA.

All the OEM stickers look to be there. The info will be on them if you can look. Otherwise, speak to Yamaha online and send them the bikes VIN number, then you'll know for sure.
