Just spent 4 weeks in the UK so was hanging out for a ride, went out yesterday in lovely 27c & sunshine. While we were in the UK South Australia had the worst storms for 50yrs, the 1st video is a dry weather rd that turned out to be closed, had to be careful just in case.. Huge ruts that would grab the bike, The 2nd video is on the way home & only 7kms from home. All nice & green over here at this point in time
Here in South Australia we just don't have the Green lanes to ride on, more gravel roads & summer tracks for us unless we head 500kms North to the Flinders Ranges, will look forward to taking the WR up there
Cheers Terry

I wish that we had some of those lengthy kind of gravel roads running north to south, or east to west here in the UK through our national forests. They look so quick and a lot of fun. Very envious of the 27c too...

Paul.
Only 7kms to the dirt from my place so I guess I'm lucky, the dirt/ gravel roads are fun but wear out tyres pretty quick & we have to be on the lookout for wildlife, I've clipped a brown snake with the front wheel & had many skippy & emu's run in front of me. I did hit a roo a few years back & bent the front wheel.
I Cruise on the gravel roads at 80 to 100kph & can do 200 to 300kms rides without a single traffic light & very little black top.
I fitted a mic to my adventure helmet last night so might give it a go this weekend, not sure how it will go as I need to put all my effort into the riding & may not have enough to talk about.
