My 08 wr250x stalls when I am on the bike and I put it in 1st gear. Mind you, I have the clutch pulled in the entire time. Do you think is the clutch plates sticking? or bad clutch switch. thanks for any help.

Have you got it sorted?
Couple of quick checks.....
First thing is to check is that you have some free play in the clutch cable - preferably the amount recommended in the manual.
Second is to check that the clutch switch is properly located in the perch and is operating correctly. That is the likely culprit as the WRR's CDi would otherwise think you are trying to put it in gear without disengaging the clutch
