I personally found the air box flapper mod and extra uni filter holes to be well worth the effort, although many others would claim otherwise. I do have an after market exhaust, have removed the AIS and also EXUP valve, so the extra air flow was much appreciated for me. The truth is that the WRR is a superb bike straight out the box and if you're happy with the power delivery, stock exhaust etc, you may just wish to leave it all alone.
I'm sure that your question will chuck a cat amongst the pigeons and so it'll be fun seeing what others happen to think. Particularly as some fellows have recently returned their machines back to stock set up.
Hi Paul I did think it might let the cat chase the birds a a bit. Its very early day for me with the WRR so Im going to find my feet before I start to pull it down. I was surprised to see the last owner had not done any thing to it.
Mines stock, apart from comfort mods like higher bars (necessitating longer cables and wires), rear rack, different front sprocket cover,, different sprocket ratios etc.
It's not had any performance mods at all, and suits me just fine.
Others like to tinker. Some get carried away!......

Heh heh - that was me
I have to confess that I didn't notice any difference when I put my WRR back to stock other than maybe it's a bit smoother
