Hi all just joined, I don't have a WR but am on the lookout for the R version. Just sold my DRZ400 and am looking to return to a Yamaha after previously running a very reliable TTR250 for a couple of years.

Welcome to the forum Paul,

Bikes often pop up, particularly on ebay i find. Hang in there and i'm sure something tasty will turn up soon enough.

There is a member on the forum based down your way who happens to be on holiday at the moment. I'm sure he'll chime in and say hi when he returns if he can help in any way.

Good luck for now,

Paul.

A belated welcome Paul! Good luck with the hunt wink

I will never make a fortune out of selling spares for WRRs as they never seem to go wrong hence we also have a relatively quiet forum!

Brian

PS Why did you sell the DRZ?

PPS to Grassroots Paul - I know Tigerman Paul as we are both members of the Devon TRF Group and have ridden together a few times plus Paul used to own a TTR250 so was also a customer of ours smile

....smile. I wondered as you were so close if maybe you would know each other already.

Welcome home too Brian. Hope you had a great holiday and enjoyed the 5th celebrations. I posted the WRR back to stock project parts down to you on Tuesday so hopefully they could be with you for tomorrow. Good luck and just shout if i can help in any way.

Ciao for now,

Paul.

It just seemed to happen Brian! I had been thinking about a change, like you do. Went out with a few others a couple of weekends ago and one of the guys asked me to sell it to him! So I did. smile

Now down to just my road bike. If I cant find a WR I might go for a CRF250L.  Or I still have an itch to scratch, maybe a big KTM 525/530/500. Sorry for swearing on a Yamaha forum!!winkwink
