A word of warning to the unwary! I've just fitted a new enduro pattern tyre to my bike. The 120/100 18 size replaces a 120/90 18. That extra bit of depth (height) might not sound like much, but in reality it's a LOT different.
Consequently, my new chain that was cut to length to fit the old tyre is too short to reach with the new tyre (as the wheel has to be farther back to stop the tyre rubbing the front of the swinging arm).
Fitting a smaller front sprocket (from 13T to 12T) gave a bit of slack but not enough. So it's off with the chain and a few links added. Lesson learn't for next time!
