Anyone know where I can get some bike specific tank graphics for my 250r?

The original ones are useless and have been jet washed off.  Someone told me that's because of the strange plastic that Yamaha use.

Any help please?

Thanks Brian,

I didn't realise that graphics were so expensive.  I really only wanted something to fit the sides of the tank panels.  I will have to have a think about spending that much on something that's just going to get scratched off!

Might be worth asking Karl if he will do them separately!

Result!  The tank graphics should soon be on their way.  Thanks.

Had a trouble getting the old ones off completely......until I got the jetwash out.

Anyone like to don their own take on graphics?

Anyone like to don their own take on graphics? A mere fraction of the price, the chance to be a little original and if you get bored with them next month, burn 'em for your next ideas!

Here's my tank graphics, supplied by the guy Brian recommended in a post here.  They've been on a few months now (after the originals succumbed to the jet wash!), and are holding up really well.  Very tough.

Not easy to fit though.  I defy anyone to get them on without the odd bubble or crease.003.JPG002.JPG

You've done a grand job Steve. I shudder the thought of having to lay down a piece of vinyl that big over so many curves. It looks superb.

The colour red has always slipped in there nicely with the blue and white. You'll be sure to turn heads.

...the dreaded jet wash biggrin We shouldn't, but we've all done it. Maybe even still do a little...if nobody's watching.

So the dreaded jet wash did its job today and the original graphics are no more😢 New ones ordered in a different design so I will post some pictures once I have fitted them.

Sorry to hear that you've lost your graphics Simon. A great excuse to go to town on something original for yourself though smile. I shall greatly look forward to see the photos in due course.

Looks great. Classy and subtle. Not like mine! I love it.
