Hi everyone

I have been a TTR owner for a few years now and a great fan of the bike, so much so that I am buying Totally TTRs along with Totally WRs from Brian (with his blessingsmile).

My wife and I have decided that we would like to carry on all the good work that Brian and Trish have donesmilesmilesmile

I am hoping that with your support, i could build on the totally WRR and F brand.

I hope to buy a WRR soon (if I can find one!), so that i will be able to really know what i am talking about, when asked about the bikes.

Any advice or suggestions about what you would like to see from the shop, would be very welcome.

Brian will still be running the TTR and WRR forums and will be helping me out a little bit on all thing's mechanical.

Look forward to hearing from you allsmile

Steve

I don't think Brian sold wr f parts?  Plenty of them about, so it might make sense to sell them too.  Could be a minefield, with model changes etc.

Good Luck with the enterprise and a big THANY YOU to Brian and Trish for the service over the years,

Wow.... Very sad to lose Brian and Trish as they have been fantastic and so very good to me over the last few years. So pleased to hear that the company sounds to have been sold to someone so enthusiastic and positive as yourself though Steve. The very best of luck to you and i hope that you receive all the help and support you need over the coming months to keep things rolling along nicely.

I'm sure you probably also know of advrider.com. Fundamentally an American forum with a massive WR following. On occasion inmates have mentioned Totally WRs when searching for longer throttle and clutch cables, as Brian put in a lot of work with Venhill. Might be worth you introducing yourself there too and tapping into the American market if you can.

Where abouts are you based Steve? Maybe a forum WR day out could be in order to celebrate your new venture smile.

A huge thank you to Brian and Trish for all that you've done for us over the years. You will be much missed.

Keeping it ever WR,

Paul.

Thanks guy's

I'm in Devon by the way, so not much change there.

I am thinking of doing a whole WR and TTR event in Devon.

I would organise venue  camping and such. Thought we could do it over 2 days and have ride out on both days, plenty of green lanes heresmile may be able to get a guest speaker to come, if we give him enough pastieswink

How does that sound?

Might be early next year, as we will need to concentrate on the great service the shop does firstsmile

Thanks again.

Steve

Welcome to the world of WR250R/Xs Steve!

I am already impressed by your enthusiasm for the business and it bodes well for the future of both Totally TTRs and Totally WRs biggrin

Good luck to both you and Lisa in your new venture.

Trish and I have enjoyed our time and have made many friends amongst our customers. We have had invites to all sorts of exotic places across the globe so, anyone that has made such an invite, watch out coz we intend to do some travelling and might turn up on your doorstep!

The shop will run as normal until the beginning of June when we will have to close down and move the stock to Steve and Lisa's manor.

The idea of starting Totally WRs came about because we had customers pointing out that some of the parts we sold for the TTR250 were interchangeable e.g. brake and clutch levers. The only way I could check and be absolutely sure was to buy my own WR250R biggrinbiggrinbiggrin and what a great bike it turned out to be!  It's a pity that Yamaha put such a high price tag on them otherwise they would be as popular here as in the States where they have a big following.

The problem with selling into the WRR/X market is that they are so reliable there isn't much call for parts other than the usual suspension and wheel bearing kits plus, of course brake pads and discs. But although that's not good for business, for owners, this is a Very Good Thing smile

Thanks for the kind comments guys and, rest assured, it will get even better under more youthful and energetic management wink

Brian

The time is getting near for Steve and Lisa to take over the eShop and for Brian and Trish to wander off into the sunset!

It is going to take a couple of days at least for swapping over the systems and physically moving the stock so we think the timetable is looking like this:

Tuesday 7th June - Brian and Trish shut the Shop for orders after 1pm. That gives them time to deal with any orders that come in on that day and get them posted. They also need to tidy up all the sales administration and emails and identify any outstanding issues that Steve and Lisa will need to follow up.

Wednesday 8th to Friday 9th June - shop remains closed so that a stock take can be taken before it is moved to its new home. Systems will be set up at Steve and Lisa's base and stock put on shelves. If all goes to plan then the Shop may re-open on Friday with Steve and Lisa at the controls!

I hope that gives everyone time to look ahead and get any parts ordered that they might need for the weekend of 10th and 11th June.

We are hoping all our lovely customers bear with us and let us know quickly of any problems that arise after the re-opening.

Steve and Lisa's contact details will be on the re-opened Shop and the emails will remain as sales@totallyttrs.com and sales@totallywrs.com.

Fingers crossed for a smooth transition!

Brian, Trish, Steve and Lisa
