Hi All well where do I start ok what have I owned before DR125,DT125,DR125,DR400s,XR250,SV650, Husquvarna Te610, KDX220,EXC450,WR426, WR450 and the new ride a 2008 WR250r.

Its going to be interesting to see how she feels after selling my WR450 to pay for a divorce ( odd she sleeps around and I pay for it ) I thought I would see what all the fuss is about and buy a WR250 for green lane and commute bike, it was a toss up between a Husky WR250 or the Yam WR the ease of filling up and milage won me over to the Yam.

She will need a few jobs done which will cost me a fair bit ,new plastics and a new seat . and maybe a few new switches .

First thing to do is set the speedo to MPH.

Welcome to club WRR Jono,

You most certainly sound like an incredibly well seasoned moto mentalist, you'll fit in well here biggrin.

Hope the posts on the forum help you to get the new ride into shape and looking good for the sunny days to come.

I'll look forward to hear how you think the WRR compares to your old WR450 in due course.

What areas do you tend to ride in at the moment? Always nice to hook up with other WRR owners for a greenlane onslaught, so if you're ever in my neck of the woods or close by, just shout and i'll be there.

A good day ridding always helps to clear the mind and forget about lifes stresses. The WRR with it's low maintenance and high thrills promises to be nothing like the ex Mrs smile.

Hi Jono,

Welcome to the forum, nice lot of bikes you've had! I'm sure the WR won't disappoint as there is a lot of scope to alter it to your ride.

As Paul said what area are you in?

Thanks for the welcome, its always nice to feel at home. At th moment I haven't had chance to get out on the WRR yet, but next week is looking better.
My only bug bear at the moment is finding parts. Fowlers Bristol have the full list but don't have much in stock .
Still its mainly cosmetic parts and Im not that worried about looks .

Fowlers are pretty good but check out Totally WRs as we have quite a few WRR parts available off the shelf - everything advertised is in stock - see here
