MOT time!

Got my V11 tax reminder for the WRR and went on line to tax it only to find the MOT had expired. I looked back and found that was indeed the case and it had expired on 18th December 2013!

Not sure what went wrong there as I am usually very good with logging MOT expiry dates well in advance confuse

Anyways up, a quick check over showed everything to be in order so booked it in and am pleased to report that it sailed through this morning with a 100% clean sheet and no advisories biggrin

I have been online and taxed it so am now legal again wink

One thing I did notice is that the odometer is reading in kmh again so need to remind myself how to get back to mph cry

Brian

...Argh! 2013!...Lol  biggrin

I've just put my van through last week funnily enough. Sailed it too...w00t.gif I guess there's no need to ever worry about MOT's when you look after things already anyway. Except for the legality of having one of course...biggrin

Glad you had some luck starting the year with an easy ride for MOT yourself Brian. I hope that you're recovering well from illness at Christmas and good luck doing the tango with the Sel 1, 2 and Reset buttons returning to MPH frustrated.gif

I did the opposite once and took one in too early. It was more than a month ahead of the expiry date, so got issued valid for 12 months from the date of test.  I lost a month there!

...Ah. Not as troublesome as first thought  smile.  The book states...

" For U.K. only: To switch the speedometer and odometer/ tripmeter displays between kilometers and miles, press the SELECT 2  button until the display changes after the main switch is turned to ON."

These things can sometimes test ones patience with a long combination of button pressing, up up down down left right A B X X Y Z kick kick punch punch upper cut... reach level 10. This one seems to be a doddle. Good luck none the less Brian thumbsup.gif
