Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get new screws for the front brake reservoir? The reservoir has been leaking since I had an off on some sleepers at a track crossing, they can be really slick!

Its leaking either through the screw or from the cap Mon the reservoir.

I tried to undo it but the previous owner had tightened too much and the one screw just disintegrated.

Are the wr250r and wr250x ones the same? As there are a couple on eBay for the x model but nothing for the r.

I can take a picture of my wr250x reservoir for you if that would help for you to see if they are the same?

I would be very surprised if they were different.

I thought the x and r were pretty well identical other that the wheel sizes.

The front brake disc and caliper is larger on the x but not sure about the reservoir.

Hi Adam that would be great thanks, my reservoir measures at 55mm x 38mm ish.

would that be similar to yours?

 You won't be needing the picture now as I see someone has posted up a parts catalogue which will be very useful to us all.

Cheers all, for anyone wanting to replace the screws for whatever reason they are m4 14mm countersunk screws, I'm going to replace with Allen headed screws.

Excellent info. If you go for stainless, you just have to remember to put a slight wipe of copper grease on the screws to make sure you don't have any problems with the aluminium-stainless interface.
