Well spotted Adam!

But they are in Surrey - collection only - plus I think the 2009 "blue" WR250Rs should have white side panels?

Have you bought one then?  My 2010 blue "r" has white side panels.

Very nice ride report Brian.  Fancy taking 4 Dorset lads out on a similar ride?

I have the V5C/2 green slip and the warranty handbook for my WR250R but the bike itself doesn't arrive until Monday so only 3 sleeps away. It's been a long wait no

Managed to tax it quickly as it will need an MOT next week when it hits its third birthday.

I already have the workshop manual but managed to download the European owner's manual from Yamaha this morning from here.

We are beginning to sell some WR250R/X spares and accessories as quite a lot of our Totally TTRs catalogue items are common between the models.

Customers ask questions about the WRR/X and I feel a bit of a fraud not owning one so persuaded Mrs TTR to let me make the "investment" wink

But I have to agree they are very nice bikes biggrin

Hi Brian,

I have been on the lookout (unsuccessfully) for an owners manual.   Where did you get yours?

Thanks Brian.  Funnily enough, my recent purchase on e bay of the FMF silencer (as posted on this forum) included a CD workshop manual, so I'm probably sorted now.  Thanks anyway.

(ps I don't think your link works)

My WRR arrived this morning. Needs seat, side panels, battery and number plate – all of which are now ordered.

I couldn’t resist plugging it onto a TTR battery and it started instantly and the motor sounds good. FMF Q pipe sounds a bit fruity but that’s only a problem if I take it trail riding.

Fingers crossed there are no less obvious hidden faults.

I will take some pics and post them up later although it isn't going to look much without a seat and side panels no

Is it a stolen recovered then?

Don't like the idea of the FMF Q being a bit fruity.  I've just bought one!!! and intend to use it on my bike.  Is it really a bit loud?

Hmmm - depends on your definition of fruity I guess. I started it in the garage so that will have exaggerated the sound perhaps.

Yep - stolen/recovered.

Going to see my mate Olly tonight as he has offered to lend me his WRR seat so, if the battery arrives tomorrow as planned, I will be able to check out the FMF on the road wink

Brian, I've the seat foam for my old WRR if that's any good on another base?? I'm sure that I gave Olly a new blue/black seat cover as well

Thanks for the offer Mark but without a base the foam and cover won't be much good. I tried a TTR seat on the WRR and it is very different. I will ride the WRR a bit more whilst I have Olly's seat on loan just to make sure everything is OK and then park it up until my new seat arrives.

Thanks again for the offer though.

Brian

PS Olly's seat is very very nice. He might have to wrestle it back off me  wink
